About Me
I have been a Registered Nurse at Hennepin Healthcare on a 32 bed Birth Center Unit at a level 1 trauma and teaching institution since 2005. I have extensive obstetric experience in caring for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients from a diverse background. My roles have included primary bedside nurse, charge nurse, preceptor and elected member of our unit council. In addition to obstetrics, my nursing experience includes gynecology, pediatrics and newborn intensive care. In 2019, I became a certified Inpatient Obstetric Nurse. In 2022, I obtained my Holistic Nursing certification. I received my legal nurse training from The Center for Legal Studies in 2023. I enjoy research, documentation review and advocacy to promote better outcomes for patients and their families.
I value spending time with my family and friends, being in nature, yoga and good conversation.
